Becky Brennan, RYT200 & LMBT, received her certification in Kunga Yoga from the Kunga Yoga School at the Wilmington Yoga Center in 2018 and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2014. Her primary teachers include Kristin Cooper-Gulak, Keegan White, Jamie Annette, Noelle Whittington, Jessica Bichler, and Allison Lloyd. Originally from Chicago, IL, Becky has been a student of movement since learning to walk. Becky started out in Ballet and Gymnastics as a young child, continued on in high school as a varsity cheerleader, and then came back to her dancing roots in college with Ballet and Modern Dance. At this time, she began regularly receiving massage and attending public yoga classes at CorePower Yoga in 2008 as a way to help relieve migraines and anxiety. In 2012, after a traumatic (yet enlightening) car accident, Becky moved to Wilmington, NC and yoga was rediscovered as a way to heal both physically and emotionally from it. Integrating her knowledge of the human body through massage and yoga, Becky hopes to encourage students to find their tools towards their own journey of self-care.
