Welcome – you belong here.
The Wilmington Yoga Center is a true community “center” of yoga — open to people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities that wish to deepen their understanding of yoga and healthy lifestyle practices.
We go to great lengths to create a friendly, non-intimidating environment for anyone that loves to practice or is curious about the amazing benefits — we love newcomers!

Meet Our InstructorsWe invite all students, regardless of physical ability, appearance, or yoga experience.
Find a ClassOur facilities offer the most spacious studios in Wilmington, a state-of-the-art hot yoga room, showers, and environmentally friendly design and practices, situated in a serene and convenient location.
The ongoing commitment and generosity of our members and long-standing students enable us to support our entire community through volunteer outreach and free or reduced-cost offerings to those most in need of access to yoga.
We grow stronger and more capable through our partnerships within the community. If you have a vision for bringing yoga closer to home or the people you serve, reach out and let us support you in finding the right fit for your needs!
Founded in 2000, WYC is celebrating over 20 years of commitment — to our students, community and teachers. Since our opening, we’ve enjoyed more than 200,000 visits, taught more than 35,000 classes, and trained more than 1,000 yoga teachers in our 200-hour and 300-hour teacher training programs.
To support a happy and engaged community of yoga teachers so that together, we may delve deeper into yogic wisdom and become more empowered to support students and seekers from all walks of life.
To build a physically and emotionally healthy community where individuals find a sense of joy and responsibility in our interconnectedness and work together to care for one another and our planet.
Contribution, kindness and optimism in what we can create together when we have the tools and resources to care for ourselves and support one another.
“Combined we have almost 40 years of teaching and training experience. With a shared passion for yoga and its principals, we strive to bring encouragement and joy to our students, our community, and the studio. We are proud to be a woman-owned, small business.”
