Jackie is an E-RYT 200, RYT 500 Yoga Teacher who has a passion for body movement and mental wellness. She loves both teaching and practicing yoga, running, hiking, and currently rolling around in her purple skates. The practice of yoga has deepened her body awareness and expanded her understanding of how the body and mind directly effect and communicate with one another. A current graduate student of Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Jackie is passionate about combining mental health techniques like talk therapy, self-inquiry, and positive self-talk with embodied practices like yoga, meditation, and breathwork. Jackie has been teaching yoga for 10 years and guides her classes through intuition, observation, and yogic study acquired through yoga teacher trainings, workshops, and practicing with teachers from whom she has drawn great inspiration. Outside of the yoga studio, you can find Jackie spending loving, quality time with her partner and their baby, Luna, crafting mala meditation jewelry, and geeking out on wildflowers.
