SK Davis, RYT200 received her 200 hour certification from the Kunga Yoga School at WYC in July 2018. Her primary teachers are Jess Bichler and Kristin Cooper. She is currently working towards her 300 hr Kunga Service Leadership certification as well.
SK discovered yoga in 2015. It only took one class to spark her curiosity about the teachings of yoga, and to notice the obvious positive effects that it had on her- physically, mentally, and emotionally. She dove right into further study on her own time, and began developing her own practice. The development of a personal practiced helped SK to feel great physically, as well as quiet down anxiety and discover self love.
SK strives to spark the same curiosity that she felt, in others. She hopes to do this through both guiding the physical asana practice as well as incorporating aspects of yogic philosophy. She believes that we truly never stop learning, and hopes that others may either begin on, or continue on their own journeys of yoga and self study. She aims to create a comfortable and safe environment, offering plenty of options and modifications to suit the needs of anyone who steps into her class!
