Stephanie Newton

While she liked the yoga classes she participated in, it wasn’t until she began her practice with Wilmington Yoga Center in 2018 that she fell in love with it! Seeing the positive results yoga had on herself — in her mind, body, and spirit — she began the 200-hr Kunga & Lifestyle Teacher Program at Wilmington Yoga Center in 2019 as a way to share the joy and gratitude she feels when practicing yoga with others. Her primary teachers include Kristin Cooper-Guluk, Allison Lloyd, Danielle Suber and Noelle Whittington.

In June 2019 she completed the 200-hour training and in July began the course of study towards a 300-hour certification. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science and hopes to combine her education in transforming health outcomes through diet and exercise with her yoga training to provide a class that is restorative and
revitalizing to yogi’s of all levels.
