What is 5Elements Hot Fire Flow?
For all yoga practitioners, Hot 5Elements Fire Flow is a class that will leave you feeling strong and powerful. It is fast moving and rigorous. Because it is practiced in a hot room, it is also detoxifying and cleansing.
You’ll start the class out by practicing a Kundalini yoga breathing technique called the “Breath of Fire,” an amazingly effective way to build up heat inside your body and increase your energy. (Once you learn this breathing technique, you can practice it any time you want for a quick energy boost!) This warms you up for series of core exercises which will tap deeply into your abdominals, not only strengthening and toning them, but also building a protective foundation for your digestive system and spine. You’ll then flow into a series of challenging salutations and arm balances, including bakasana, or crow pose. By the time the hour has passed, you’ll have worked up quite a sweat! You’ll keep moving and flowing the entire time, before ending in a relaxing and cooling savasana, or corpse pose.
