Yin is a meditative practice that takes place low to the ground.
Grounded in The Five Elements
of Chinese Medicine (Wood, Earth, Fire, Metal, Water), the practice isn’t about muscle stretching or even total relaxation. It’s about connective tissues and bones and allowing space for both the light and the dark (which doesn’t always feel very relaxing).
In this workshop, you will take a full tour of all of The Five elements. Your only task is to passively watch your mind without judgment (much easier said than done) while to moving the slowest you’ve ever moved. These classes are perfect for anyone who just needs a minute to check in and and allow space for that which is.

About Tatum Fjerstad, RYT200
Tatum Fjerstad is a recovering people pleaser and social media addict. She is, however, mostly a human being teaching other human beings how to be okay with being human. She does this through movement, meditation, and writing. Tatum obtained her 200hour YTT certification at Yoga Center of Minneapolis and honed her practice and teaching skills at Your Yoga and with Elena Brower. After living in NYC for two years, holding down five jobs and hustling like a boss, she decided to hit the road to see the country and learn more about what it is she really wants from life. To learn more about Tatum, follow her on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, and at tatumfjerstad.com.
