Twenty years ago I was just a regular, stressed-out American wife and mother of three trying to do it all. I was running three businesses, going to the PTA and supporting my children in every sport imaginable. As the stressors built up, my vitality began to diminish. It was to the point where every joint in my body ached, sleep was erratic, my menstrual cycle was debilitating and my emotions were beginning to become unstable.
Things were not looking good…Then up pops a book on Ayurveda – Eureka!!!
I devoured every page, as it spoke to me, answering the questions that were arising in my fragile state of being. It was so practical and approachable. Everything I tried seemed to improve my health. It was hard to believe. I thought the remedy would need to be more complicated and require serious interventions. I am happy to say that it was easier than expected.
Once I understood the underlying causes of my stress and pain and how to apply the balancing counter measures, I began to get my life and vitality back. I have never looked back and I still continue to learn even more nuances through this amazing science, these 20 years later.
