Kale-Banana Smoothie

Kale rocks! One cup of chopped kale contains only 33 calories and 9% of the recommended daily value of calcium, 206% of vitamin A, 134% of vitamin C and 684% of vitamin K. Kale also offers its consumers a great source of the minerals copper, potassium, iron, manganese and phosphorus.

Here are some additional reasons kale is amazing!

1. Kale is high in fiber and has zero fat. One cup of kale has 5 grams of fiber and 0 grams of fat. It is great for aiding in digestion and elimination.

Ingredients:

2 frozen bananas

2 tbs hemp seeds

1 cup frozen blueberries

2 cups water or almond milk

5 kales leafs
