The Kunga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training certification is a transformational program for the yogi and the teacher seeking to integrate mind, body, and spirit through creative, strong, vinyasa flow practices. Students going through the program for personal enrichment will be challenged in a way that is safe, strong, and deeply transformative. Teacher Trainees will learn how to create and offer efficient, and effectively sequenced classes using anatomical principles and vinyasa krama theory. You will also receive a detailed manual with sample class sequences, and content guiding you through the entire process for becoming a strong, effective, and impactful teacher. Training includes mixed levels Power Flow classes, intermediate and advanced postures (with optional modifications), vinyasa methodology and vinyasa krama theory, ayurveda, and teaching techniques for all levels of vinyasa practitioners.
In this Training You will learn:
*How to sequences for all families of themed classes: Hip Openers, Backbends, Forward Bends, Twists, Arm Balances, Inversions
*How to sequence your class for an advanced or “peak” posture
*How to handle mixed levels of students in various settings
*How to teach with confidence, clarity, and ease
*How to enhance alignment and offer a safe but motivating experience for all
*How to Weave Themes/Philosophy into your classes
*How to incorporate music wisely for various classes
*How to create a personal practice that is personal and sustainable for your needs
In addition, you will learn:
*Classical and Innovative Sun Salutations/Namaskars
*Verbal secrets, teaching tips, pacing, demonstration & tying it all together
*Hands On Assisting guidelines and tips
*Principles of the Ayurvedic Effects of Asana
*Living yoga practices & self-care routines

This training is open to all levels of students and teachers (with or without 200 hour certification.) This certification is a required module for participants towards 300hour certification.

Vinyasa for All Levels:
This certification and training is for all aspiring and experienced yoga teachers wishing to learn to teach effective, safe, and strong Power Flow yoga classes. Any practitioner at any level of yoga experience who seeks a greater understanding of Power Flow/Vinyasa Yoga is welcome into our trainings. Participants in our Kunga Yoga programs sometimes go through the program for personal enrichment, and others for professional training. We welcome and encourage both, and offer our trainings in a way that is both challenging, and permissive-for many this is a deeply enlightening and deeply transformative way of approaching the practice. We do request that you show up with an open mind, and full commitment!
About Nicole Fitzwater Boyle, ERYT500
Nicole Fitzwater Boyle, Owner & Teacher @ In Balance Yoga Studio in Blacksburg, VA, Kunga Yoga School Faculty, E-RYT500, YACEP, Chief Yoga Nerd.Nicole is a Blacksburg native. She attended the University of Virginia and graduated with a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce in 2001, and after 15 years of living away from the New River Valley returned home to her roots and purchased In Balance Yoga in the summer of 2013 from Becky McDaniel. Yoga found Nicole in January 2006 and they have been inseparable ever since. Nicole has practiced in studios all over the country and even internationally, focusing on the Bikram, Barkan, Baptiste, Ashtanga, Dharma Yoga traditions and most recently – the Kunga Yoga School. Her teachers include D’ana Baptiste, Becky McDaniel, Dharma Mittra, Jimmy Barkan and Kristin Cooper-Gulak. Nicole is grateful to her mentors, influencers and all that have inspired her over the years.

- This certification counts as one required module/counts as elective hours towards 300Hr registry in the Wilmington Yoga Center program
No refunds will be given for workshops. 10 days prior to the workshop cancellation is permitted for account credit only minus a $25 administrative fee. 10 days and closer to the start date of the workshop the total tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.*

If you are a military spouse, you may qualify for the MyCAA program. The MyCAA program is a career development and employment assistance program offered by the military for military personnel and their spouses. MyCAA provides a maximum educational benefit of $4,000.
