One of Taylor favorite poets, Rumi, once wrote, “Look past your thoughts so you may drink the pure nectar of this moment”. These beautiful words are a humbling reminder that every moment of our existence is sacred. Taylor truly believes that by focusing on what’s happening right in front of us, bliss and contentment are encouraged to blossom.
After taking her first yoga class with a friend in 2010, Taylor was immediately drawn to the ancient practice. Not only did she fall in love with the physical movements and expressions of her body, but she tapped into a place of deep inner serenity within her mind that she had never quite reached before.
Taylor completed the 200hr Kunga Yoga Lifestyle teacher training with Wilmington Yoga Center in 2013 with Kristin Cooper, Noelle Whittington, Jess Bichler, and Heather Metzler. She also completed the 200hr Power Vinyasa with Tamal Dodge in 2013. These teachers, along with Lexi Hawks have inspired her to learn and grow, on and off the mat.
Taylor has taught a variety of classes throughout her teaching career including Gentle, Basic, Prenatal, Restorative and Yin. Taylor hopes each and every student walks away empowered with the belief that they are their own most powerful teacher.
