The Client Relationship: Cultivating Intuitive Presence, Boundaries & Ethics with Shelbi Miles, ERYT500 + LMT
Wondering how to build and maintain healthy boundaries when working with your yoga clients?
*300 Hour Therapeutics Track Required Training
This two and half day module will focus on working one on one and/or in small groups with clients/students in a safe, respectful and clearly defined way. We will explore techniques to expand inner awareness of both our own, as well as our students, physical, mental and energetic bodies using asana, pranayama and meditation. Participants will discover how these patterns affect both themselves and their individual clients so that each session is grounded and centered.
Guidance will be given in:
1) accessing personal inner wisdom
2) cultivating objective listening techniques
3) using these tools to navigate the best path toward optimal well being. Building trust in our skills and intuition will allow us to better discern and aid our students in finding and maintaining balance and overall wellness for themselves.
We will also look at some of the ethical issues facing Yoga Teachers who work one-on-one with clients and the importance of professional integrity and boundaries in this ever evolving world. The more fundamental business aspects of private yoga sessions eg. Soap notes and intake forms will also be covered.Sign Up Now
